Now's the time
You know, sometimes it takes a little week of seeing children enjoy singing and doing things for God to make us stop and think....when did we lose that excitement for God? Why does it become harder to invite our friends? Why does it become harder to get excited to come worship even just ONE day a week? Sometimes, our little hearts and minds just need a reminder......
Thank you God for putting reminders in
our lives!!!!
"GO"
by Mercy Me
My life has been instilled
By a hope that never moves
And yet it moves me still
So I'm crying out to You
Use me
So I can take Your fame and glory
For all to see
No matter where Your hand may lead me
Chorus:
I will go
I will go
To make You known
I will go
I can't keep You to myself
My heart is just too small
There's so many left to tell
That You came for one and all
Use me
So I can take Your fame and Glory
For all to see
No matter where Your hand may lead me
(Chorus)
For a dying world in need
For the hungry and the weak
For the sinner scared to speak
I will go
(Chorus)

Thank you for the reminder.
Unfortunately, I think part of the reason it gets harder is b/c we simply do "get older." We have such an innocence when we are young - we aren't aware of the worldly things going on around us! Looking back, our parents probably did a good job of protecting us of the "world" as long as they could! Then, as we get older, and there is no way to stop kids from growing up, outside interferences come into play! It is very hard to invite friends to church when we know they have a different background. We risk feeling rejected or feeling silly even tho we know it is important. Plus, we have been "hurt" thru the years and that can make people question their faith. Plus, some people have "more questions than faith" and want those questions concerning God "answered." I guess what I'm trying to say is that people change and sometimes it is hard for people to stay connected to God and realize how important that is. I wish people could have that childlike faith and trust forever! And, some people do, but, sadly, some do not!
Anyhoo, I also wanted to say "thanks" for the reminder!!! We all have day to day issues and it is nice to be reminded that our Lord is there and he wants the best for each and every one of us!!! :)
