I will praise You in the storm

I've had a bad morning. Make that a bad week. Why is it so easy to forget God during the hard times and praise Him in the good?? As the song says, shouldn't we praise Him in the storms too?? There are so many biblical examples of this kind of strong faith, but I think went it comes to our personal lives, we don't recognize we're capable of it that easily.

The burdens that we live with everyday lead our hearts and mind to stress and depression. We all feel it and struggle with it daily. But, what we need to remember is this life is temporary and will never fully satisfy us. We are constantly yearning for what God has promised us b/c we were made for that. The hard times will get us down. The stress may seem unbearable. But if we keep our eyes on God and His desires for us, we will always have the hope of what our hearts desire the most. The one thing that will fully satisfy and keep the pain away for good. Eternal life with Him!

• If God had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
• He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning.
• When you want to talk, He'll listen.
